Sony Introduced an Evolution of the Xperia to the world with Xperia X Series
After the new launches by LG, Samsung and HTC, Sony one of the high-end brand among smartphones kick off the Mobile World Congress 2016 with its new Xperia X series. Sony has unrelieved three models in its new Xperia X series of smart phones on 22nd February 2016 at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Under the new X-series, Sony launched the Xperia X, the XA and the X Performance to replace its existing Xperia Z series. Xperia X series includes the mid-range XA, the X, and the flagship Xperia X Performance.
The company mainly focused on two technological areas with the X phones: the camera and the battery. All three smartphones look very similar and have a lot in common from design standpoint, along with sharing some technologies and components, but each phone is built around a unique platform. Here we are sharing some features of all three smartphone Xperia X, the XA and the X Performance in detail for potential buyers of Sony to make a smart purchase.
Sony Xperia X series’ Look:
If we talk about the sony Xperia X series’s look, Xperia’s traditional sleek design has been changed up a bit with a metal back. Xperia X series has been painted with Graphite black, White, Lime Gold or Rose Gold. For all three smartphones front and back have a single and continuous color. Xperia X and XA have 5″and 5″ 720p screen, whether the X Performance has 5″ 1080p screen. Xperia X Performance is a waterproof, IP68, while the other two are not.
Sony Xperia X series’ Memory, Storage and Processor:
Xperia X is powered by a Snapdragon 650 chipset with 3GB of RAM and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It has 32GB of storage, expandable of course. If you want to go with an affordable version of Xperia X consider buying Xperia XA. Xperia XA is powered by a MediaTek MT6755 chipset (2GB RAM, 16GB storage) with Marshmallow. If you need more power, the Sony Xperia X Performance gets you a Snapdragon 820 chipset (3GB RAM, 32GB storage).
Sony Xperia X series’ Camera:
Xperia X series have the “future-focused” Smart Capture camera features Sony’s Predictive Hybrid Autofocus, which lets you pick a target and tracks it. Let’s talk about X series’ camera. Xperia X has 23MP main camera. The 23MP camera can launch and snap a photo all in 0.6 seconds. The Xperia X has a 13MP selfie camera. If we talk about affordable version of Xperia X the XA, XA has 13MP main camera and 8MP selfie camera. In Xperia X Performance you get the same 23MP camera with Hybrid AF and a 13MP selfie camera like Xperia X but the main camera also can record 4K video and can boost ISO up to 12,800. Sony promises to bring Sony’s awesome battery life – two days of use between charges. If we talk about Xperia X and X Performance’s battery, both has 2,620mAh battery. On the other hand the affordable version of Xperia X the XA, it has smaller battery of 2, 3000 mAh.
